You want to do a Google Ads campaign which will target all the countries, but you can’t. There is no “all countries” option, and you feel like you have to add each country one by one. But no problem, I have a quick solution for you 🙂

How to (quickly) add all countries to a Campaign

1) Start your campaign with just one country

Pick just one country and proceed to start your campaign. You need to pick at least one country in order to create a campaign, that is why. We will add all countries in just a few seconds.

2) Go to your Ad Location Settings

Then, select the ad group of the campaign you just created. And from the left menu, click on locations > and then click on the pen icon to edit your locations…

3) Add all countries

Now, select add countries in bulk and paste the countries list that you find below, which includes all Google Ads countries 🙂

  • Past all countries in bulk

Do all countries work with Google Ads?

Nope, some countries are not eligible to run Google Ads. Find below the list of countries that are currently not availabe and the reason why.

“Google must comply with sanctions imposed by the United States Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC).”

As a result, Google Ads isn’t available to advertisers in the following countries or territories:

Crimea
Cuba
Iran
North Korea
Sudan
Syria

Update: The new Google Ads dashboard allows you to simply select all countries

How? Once again, at the beginning you need to select just one country.
Later, go to your Ad Group and change the settings.

You need to select “settings” from the left menu and then you can choose the option “All Countries and locations” when it comes to countries, and “All languages” when it comes to languages!
